How To Tell If You're Prepared To Item Upgrade

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is swapped for another similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto the new gear.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing  upgrade item  after a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.

Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
